The center of this designer earth tone mud cloth pillow is in rust, medium brown, black and white, then edged with vibrant yellow mud cloth. The stripped middle of the throw pillow is also bordered by black piping and the back is in solid black linen or cotton. The edges of the pillow are overlocked and it is closed with an invisible zipper.
Mud cloth pillows perfectly complement your sofa by adding an element of human craftsmanship and sophistication.
PLEASE NOTE THAT DESIGN PLACEMENT MAY DIFFER SLIGHTLY THAN SHOWN. NO TWO PIECES ARE EXACTLY ALIKE.
The handwoven mud cloth pillow is made from handwoven strips of cotton imported from Mali in Africa. Made one at a time from a process originated by village women centuries ago, it is a labor-intensive technique which uses tannin and clay to shape it and tell stories and history with symbols.
